AudioLot takes great care in each of our customer's purchases. Have a question about a product, a manufacturer, or maybe just a question about what the right move is for your studio? We're here to consult with you, before, during and after the sale. This is also why we have a strict refund policy in place. Before you purchase, we want to ensure that all your questions have been answered and the gear is right for you.

AudioLot Refund/Return Policy:

AudioLot's products are special ordered from each manufacturer and AudioLot takes time to consult with each and every client (at the clients discretion and at no charge) to ensure that the customer is purchasing the correct product(s) for their needs. It is for these reasons that AudioLot does not accept returns. If there is a problem with the product you receive, please contact AudioLot and we will immediately step in and take care of the situation.

The only exception to this policy is with Peluso Microphone Lab. Any microphone ordered may be tested during the day that the microphone arrives at the customer's destination. The customer shall be able to return that microphone for a full refund, minus shipping expenses, as long as it is shipped back to Peluso Microphone Lab in the exact same manner, and in the exact same condition, as it was shipped to the customer and that it is sent out no later than the morning after the initial delivery to the customer took place.

AudioLot reserves the right to modify these return policies at anytime and in accordance with the manufacturers we represent.

Why don't you give us 30 days like some other dealers?

We have been in business for over 10 years and to date we have never had a customer problem with the gear we have recommended, nor a request for a refund. The policies that some other dealers have vary from dealer to dealer, but because we spend so much time with our clients before the sale ever occurs, we can ensure that the right products have been chosen. We also don't want to get into situations where people make purchases just so they can use the amazing gear we carry, along with our consultations and phone support, to essentially "rent" the gear for however long they have to return it. That basically becomes a free rental and hurts our business.

The other thing to remember is that once a brand new product has been opened and/or used in any way, it can never again be sold as "brand new". So, not only would we have to take a loss on the sale, but we'd also have to list that item as what's known as "b-stock" at a lower price. We could start assessing restocking fees, but that also hurts our customers because if they wish to return an item they are essentially giving us money for nothing.

It is for these reasons why AudioLot has these strict refund policies in place. This does not mean that we won't be there for you every step of the way. We will always be there for you, no matter if you are making a purchase, needing assistance with gear you've already purchased, or in the worst case scenario, have an issue with the gear you've purchased.
