The Master Bus module is required when using either the 4-Input and/or 8-Input X-Rack modules. Only a single Master Bus module is required per X-Rack installation and you can link two X-Rack chassis together for a massive amount of inputs. We recommend using as many 4-Input modules as possible and only a single 8-Input module in order to achieve the greatest end result and that famous SSL console sound. By doing things this way, you have complete control over the level and pan in analog via the 4-Input modules. The Master Bus module can also be automated via MIDI and you can perform a true analog fade in/out by sending a MIDI signal to the module from your digital audio workstation using MIDI automation. This allows you to store your fades with your session in a MIDI track and have complete control and recall from within your session. There is a specially wired DSUB connection on the rear of the Master Bus module and your AudioLot sales representative can have a cable made to your exact specifications. |
