Inspired by classic German Stereo Microphones
General Characteristics
This microphone is inspired by the classic stereo microphones from Germany. It uses Peluso's exclusive P-K69/67 capsule which closely emulates the sound of the original SM-69, and faithfully reproduces deep lows with airy highs. This microphone can run from its included power supply or, if AC power is not available, from phantom power with slightly reduced SPL handling.
This microphone comes as a complete system, with the microphone in custom wood box, flight case, power supply, 7 conductor cable and includes the shock mount. The P Stereo, like all other Peluso microphones, is hand built in the USA.
Microphone Cables
The microphone cable can have a profound effect on the sound of any microphone. Even the finest microphones will sound poor if the interconnect cable allows noise to enter, or causes distortion and degradation of sound. Use only the best microphone cable to obtain the optimum performance from your microphone.
Care & Protection
Dust and foreign material can degrade the performance of a microphone over time, so always store the unit in its case. Remove fingerprints from the exterior with a camp soft cloth.
